Through HLW19, and especially the cultural tourism branch, I came into real contact with business topics for the first time. That ultimately shaped my further path as well. Today I have completed my bachelor's degree in business administration at WU Vienna, am currently studying for a master's in Supply Chain Management, and work alongside my studies at Bosch in Vienna.
Even though I did not end up working in cooking or service, it was precisely those subjects that gave me an enormous amount for my private life and everyday routine: independence, organisation, time management - and a genuine passion for cooking at home. In our hands-on projects in particular I learned to take responsibility and to plan different projects well, which still benefits me today.
What I appreciated most about HLW19 was the appreciative atmosphere and the human way teachers and students dealt with one another, as well as the modern facilities and the beautiful location. Looking back, it was a very formative, positive and above all fun time for me.
