Outdoor-Tag

On 20th of September our form teacher organized a field trip to the zoo for my class. The whole class as well as two teachers met at 9:00 o’clock in front of the Hietzing tube station.

Afterwards, we went to Schönbrunn. From there, we split into groups of 4 to 5 students. My group and I first visited the penguin’s aquarium and saw so many distinct species there. Although the weather was cold and rainy, we were still lucky enough to see some animals outdoors. The elephants, lions, and giraffes were all outside eating and roaming around; the sight was phenomenal.

Moreover, my favorite part of the trip was when I got to see the pandas. There were many other animals that we wanted to see but the weather didn’t help. However, we had so much fun and learned new facts about the animals. All in all, we would definitely do it all again. Finally, we went back to our previous meeting point and this was the end of our trip for that day.
